Hey Guys.........

After a long wait of 4+ years, day before yesterday we got our passports with a stamp of maple leaves.

The visa is valid until 25th Sep 2014 only as the medicals are getting expired on 30th Sep 2014.

Thanks to all of you for keeping me motivate when I was disappointment.

I am still waiting. It has now 4 years and 1 month. Two medicals and one medical furtherance and all now are expired. I did submitted my application when I am in second year PhD student. Now, I have completed my studies one year ago and I am already working in lecturer position.
When I started my application, I followed this thread, then moved to Buffalo's thread. Then to another thread. As each of this get abundand due to most of follower get their visa. Good luck for all of you. I am still here looking for active applicant similar to my case. ???
Who knows, might Allah sees this is good for me.

Please clarify the term "medical furtherance". I have also done 2 medicals. one on Dec 12 and another on Mar2014. still waiting for VISA.

CIC asked me to do and submit new medical tests for my child. My child had medical condition. I did that and submit "fairness letter," an explanation that might child will not cause and medical demand on Canada health system. That done on Oct 2013. Since then no answer from CIC.

Anyone here knows how long it takes after the decision made status? I have my application status changed to the DM on June 3, 2014 and still waiting for the visa & passports.

I believe there are only two scenario after DM whether Visa is approved or rejected. So I am just checking how long it takes in average to know the decision of the immigration office.

I sent all passports on May 12, 2014

Dear Sans May2012,
Please email to VO that you have not received passports back, average time is 2 to 4 weeks. I believe that your case is not rejected, after PPR, their is no chance of rejection, your passports have been misplaced.

I emailed copies of passport to Paris VO yesterday and today I received email to submit passports with photographs to Canadian embassy in Islamabad for visa issuance. Paris VO is very quick. Alhamdullilah.

Do any body know that how many days Canadian embassy in Islamabad will take to issue visa and return passport? Actually I have to travel abroad soon and want to have passport back before August 30, 2014.

Hi There

Urgent Help required

My Brother in Pakistan got the Passport Request they advise him to send the scanned copies of passport and the Updated Family information chart to London VO. Beside that they asked the orignal passport to be submitted at Abu Dhabi VO.

Can he send the passport via mail to Abu Dhabi from Karachi - Pakistan ? If Yes is there any office in Karachi who will take his passport via mail ?
