Maximum Processing time for student visa

Hi All,

I am kamran ayyub from Pakistan and I have applied for ACCA in Toronto. I have submitted my application on 13th dec and now its the end of February and no reply yet. How much wait I have to do and how much time embassy will take to process my student visa, as my classes will commence on 1st of march 2012 and now it is 27th of February.

On the CHC website the processing time is 11 weeks..................

11 weeks means mean 3 months but my friend applied in 22 of November and he is also waiting for embassy reply. He is waiting for more than 3 months.

One person received medical call after 5 months ..........We cannot predict exact timeline........

Days for chc in Pakistan
University side last session Jan 2012 for Pakistan Only:

Highest days 122 and Lowest days 39 and on average 80.5days which means almost 3 months

College side last session Jan 2012 for Pakistan Only:

Highest days 200 and Lowest days 75 and on average 137.5days which means almost 4.5 months

If you want to qualify for PR through Canadian Experience Class, you must first graduate from a post-secondary institution in Canada. Then you must obtain 1 full year full time skilled work experience.

what is defferal letter? and my classes will start on 1st of march.

contact with your collage and tell them you still waiting for your visa so sent you a letter wherein they will mentioned that they will cover your course which you will missed by the time you will get the visa so at the time of traveling when immigration people asked that your course start before you suppose to come earlier then you can show them that letter

As'salam Alikum,

Deferral letter at this stage is useless until CIC ask you to provide it.

Wait for CIC response now because if they are interested to accept you they already send you medical call.

For how long I have to wait? If the are delaying it means they will give visa? I have seen many people get quick reply but all are rejected.

First there will be a medical call then after medical it will take almost a month for visa........

Current process time is 9 weeks. And my application is in process for 11 weeks.

Could you please guide me how long could delayed applications take?

Kindly tell me after delay about how many weeks after you received decision?
