Hello Mentors/Friends,

I have CRS score as 380 with CLB 8, BE. degree and 26 age factor. Also, I have been preparing for CLB 9. However, with the CLB 9 score, the CRS only reach to 429 points.

So, Is it preferable to apply for student visa and take 1/1.5 year graduate course from Canada to increase CRS points? Also, If I get CLB 9 while I will have student visa. Can I proceed further with the express entry process?

Thank you

It is totally upto you whether you want to do a Master's or not. Of course, it will help you increase your CRS at the end of your course, but you need to evaluate the cost of tuition, living and other expenses you will face in Canada and compare it with the cost of Master's in India. However, the pros of a Canadian master's is, you will not require to go through an ECA process and verifications will be easier.

Yes, even, as a master's student, you can apply for EE and enter the pool and update your profile as soon as you get your degree.

Thank for your reply. Also, Study in Canda gives 30 points for Masters degree and 30 more for two or more degrees. Therefore, that will be a benefit part in terms of CRS score.
Do anyone knows the university/college which are recognized/authorized by CIC?

I am also planning to enroll for the MBA or PG diploma in AI & ML. Any help would be appreciated.
Go for it. Great specialization
