Lammawitch said:You can apply "Outland", while "in" Canada, but visa office depends on your country of origin, you don't get to pick the one with the shortest processing time! Lots of information on the family board here.

My PGWP expires in 2 months, had submitted my application for PR under CEC in mid-October as wanting to qualify under my own credentials. But missed out by a couple of days, and had it returned to me in early January. I've got 448 on my EE score, and have decided to apply with my common-law partner for spousal sponsorship. Less stress of waiting for draws and unknowns. The PR will arrive in 2 years, and i should hopefully get an OWP in 4 months.
I wish we had applied for this over a year ago, but hadn't realised that CIC were gonna move the goalposts! ;D
