Unfortunately, there is not way we can pull the application together. We still need police checks etc and his deadline to leave is August 6th.

I am applying for the extension online now. I have read that just giving as much info about the situation as possible and stating that we want to stay together while the application is in process.

Any advice on what to write in the extension application? How long should we ask for? I read that some people asked for a year, but I don't want to raise any flags.

I will look into Outland, if he is able to stay in Canada while we apply from London that would be perfect.

Pay the fee's at the bank they will give you a receipt one is yours the other is to be sent with the application, photocopy it and send it. include a copy of your marriage certificate, write a letter explaining that you would like to remain together during the process and that you are just waiting on police certificates in order to send in the application, ask for a year because you are filing out-land. also let them know that you will be supporting him during his stay include bank statements showing you have the funds available. I personally would mail it in so the documents were there for them to see as long as it is received before his visitor visa is expired he will be on implied status until a decision is made... GL!
