My fiancee, a Filipina, was married to a Japanese national . . and divorced in Japan. Is her Japanese divorce certificate adequate for me to sponsor her to come to Canada, or does she have to get the Philippine embassy to recognize her divorce? I forgot to mention we are planning on getting married in Thailand. Thanks
