I am applying for CEC and the question is about Marriage certificate.

My Marriage certificate is written in both Urdu and English. I mean the same certificate has text in Urdu and English. The english part covers what's written in Urdu.

Since it has english portion do I need to still get it translated.

No.

Do you mean I don't have to get it translated. I hope the VO doesn't get confused with Urdu text.

Reachsky,

Just make sure that everything written in Urdu on your Marriage Certificate has its English translated version (text) appearing. If yes, you are good to go.

Thanks very much PMM and Andy2109.

Just a curious, though everything in urdu has been translated to english, but still even if something is not translated how would they know.

I would think this way

they do not worry what was written in URDU but they will look for all necessary information avialable in english or not in that marriage certificate?

if they have any confusions finding that info then you will have issues

thanks
