Marriage after submitting PR application

Hi,I am a live in caregiver for 2 yrs this month.I am planning to apply for PR and open work permit on June.
I am still single but planning to get married next year around April or May.

Can someone give me details about "getting married while PR is on process?"
I wanted to know how will this affect my application and how can we shorten the time of waiting to be together, I mean the fastest way to get him here in canada.

That's all fine. Apply as you have planned in June. Once you are married then you must add your spouse to your application.

Sorry to bear the news, but don't get used to the word "fast" in the context of applying for PR. You could try and have your spouse apply for a 'visit visa' with narrow chances of approval. But if you do, make sure you try that BEFORE you are married.

Anyway,about "adding him in my application",ive read some infos that if they "find or decided" that my husband is not eligible or inadmissible(i dont know how to say,sorry)..they said it can affect my application,that we both could have a negative result?how true is that?

I have heard that when 2 parents are being sponsored, if one is inadmissible then they both are. I've haven't heard this in the context of your situation however. Two big things that would make you inadmissible are poor health, and/or criminal activity.

Anyway, if you were to wait then you would also have to delay your wedding since if you get your PR after you're married and you DON'T declare your husband, he is then excluded from the Family Class forever.

If you are married, then you are obligated by law to include your spouse in your application (or add your spouse once you are married). Failing to include / add your spouse is misrepresentation and grounds for having your PR status revoked.

Yes if your husband is not eligible, then both of you would be ineligible.

If your husband has some health condition that you think would make him ineligible due to excessive demand, then it would be better to NOT get married and achieve your PR status as single, then get married after and sponsor your husband under family class where there is no excessive demand clause.

thank you for all the info..so i guess as long as my husband is healthy and a good citizen back there, he will probably wont affect my application if i add him. 39 months is too long to wait again if i wait for my PR until i can sponsor him..hope everything ends well. thank you.

Yes, you will have a long enough wait as it is. IF you were to wait, then you would have to tack on at least another year for "spousal sponsorship". Other than for health or a bad record, I would apply and then ADD him to the application once you are married.
