They asked for my own medical reassessment on 20th May, 2015. I had my first medical examination for PR done in India around 15th April, 2014. It was expired and they asked for reassessment. My wife's medical is still good, and she is also here with me in Canada now. I did my medical reassessment on 21st May, 2015. Doctor sent it with the X-ray on 25th May. Decision Made was shown on ecas on 30th May(Saturday).

I don't know what else they'll do before sending me PPR.

I hope they do it today or tomorrow, so that I can send my passport during this week, Canada post doesn't deliver on weekend... :(

Well, they only ask after 15 months I guess, validity is only 12 months. If we get PR in 15 months, without reassessment its well and good. Most of the cases they extend it if the applicant is just in Canada. I got my medicals done in India, cost me about 3500-4500 INR (About less than $100). So they asked me another one here. Cost me $65 Panel Physician+$75 x-ray. Still cheaper than the medical examination cost in Canada.

Spouses living in home country need to get it done there again, I guess.

It moves fast after medical reassessment. My medical was sent by doctor on Saturday and the next Monday I saw DM on ecas.
