Does it really mean that medical reassement is for them who are close to their pr?

In my opinion, I don't think CIC would ask for additional medical exams if there was something wrong with the original application - they would simply reject the application and save everyone the time and money.

In other words, I think it's a good sign that CIC is asking for additional medicals at this stage.

Best of luck Tina!

Coz i was told by someone that they might ask yu for another medical if they think that they still need some more time to process your application

Congrats everyone for DM and PPR. But do u guys have any idea why cic did not give DM status to all feb and march applicants. Since i am 17 march applicant i was thinking it might be because i have dependant that's why i am still holding ip status since 15 September 2014. Or its because of different NOC codes.. any experience ??
Hi sumitsra ... Did u get any madical reassessment request for ur spose or not yet???? I am still waiting for ... Called yesterday to cic they said security check is inprogress ..

Hello guys!

I just want to share an experience here, You must be seeing a lot of my frustration and post in this forum especially my very long waiting time with our FBI clearance. So finally, I decided to email them and follow up after 16 weeks( I got the idea from 1 thread in this forum). So this is what i received:

Good Afternoon,

According to our records, the request was insufficient due to invalid payment. The FBI in the US can not accept money order from Canada.
The FBI will need you to submit a new payment for $18. Below is the link to the credit card payment form. Please fill this form out, sign it and fax to 304-625-9792 or scan the form and email to this email address.

Our records show the money order was returned to you 3/26/2015. We do not know if the payment is correct until it is processed. After the payment is reject, we send a letter stating a new payment will be required. We have a customer service line, which includes this email address, so customer can call and check status or ask questions about the process. Feel free to use this service while your request is in the process.

I asked them how come I never received a letter or any money back if its insufficient. How come I never received any notice since the very first day they received any insufficiency in the payment. And if I didnt email them, I would be waiting for stupid FBI result for nothing.
And if that is the case that they cant process mine, how come my husband is also waiting for 17 weeks. He sent his own application from his home country. So does it mean that his fee is also insufficient...that is really real bullshit (sorry for my word)
There's something fishy goin on and i feel so much disappointed from an agency who is solving big serious cases in the United States.

So if any of you guys were asked for FBI clearance, just make sure to follow up right away to avoid this problems.
I hope my experience can give a lil idea to some people in this forum who is also on the same case like mine.. It looks like my patience is really being tested in this waiting game. Im just praying that God will give me strenght continously.

Thanks so much!

Hi Tina,

Sorry to hear about your experience with the FBI but thanks for sharing it.

Did CIC give you a deadline for submitting your new PCC?

Thanks

Hi...yes...until feb 28 only. But before that I already emailed them and told them about the situation. We are really disappointed. Something fishy is going on

Yes, this situation seems unusual but I think once you send them the money you'll have your PCC in no time.

So, CIC did not give you a new deadline? Your original deadline for the PCC was FEB 28 but they did not specify a new date?

I'm curious because I have a friend who was asked for a PCC from the US even though they never lived there (only visited) - so instead of obtaining the PCC my friend wrote CIC a letter explaining that they never lived there and only travelled to florida for business.

This was about 2 months ago and they (friend) have not heard back from CIC regarding the explanation letter. I"m not sure if this is good or bad.

Anyways, I'm hoping for the best for both you and my friend.

Cheers

I just finished my medical reassesment 2 days ago and my file received 13 months ago now any idea how long i have to wait ...

Hi Apatel,

If you're inland I'd say another 2-4 months but I'm really just guessing based on the time lines of other inland pnp applicants.

Did you apply to CPC Ottawa?

When did you get your AOR?

Thanks
