i just sent it yesterday they will receive it on friday. but when i submitted my application before to sydney i used PO box either.

I received passport request yesterday (wednesday,march 04, 7 pm)
my quick time line
aor :23rd april 2014
med received : 30 may,2014
ip :2nd feb 2015
passport request : 4th march,2015
as i paid rprf after i submited aplication they didnt have to ask later.
Please track everybody's time line.most of the time it works.
i did same, one guy here (canadavisa.com) has same date of aor,med received as mine.he had ip one day ahead then me,he received passport request d day before yesterday so i was almost sure that i must be getting yesterday n eventually i got it !!
fortunately i called cic in morning to know my status but they didnt give specific ans ,just told that i ll receive notification very soon n got ppr in evening !!!

does anybody know how they take to reply for e mail ?

Just as I feared. Thanks for your reply stimitak. Have you heard of any problems if people send Canada Express Post envelopes it to PO Box? I have been digging through the forum, but don't see anything that points negatively/positively so far.

Dont worry...there was a guy who sent it to PO box and also confirmed that it was received.

Yeap! Don't lose hope. Before yesterday, I thought getting IP is an important step before PPR but I was wrong. Straight PPR from Application Received (AOR April 22nd). Here's some good luck to you!

They only need Indian PCC, not RCMP. Make sure you apply for PCC with BLS as soon as you can as I see they haven't really given you much time (just 30 days). It might take a few weeks to get it back from BLS and then send it immediately to Ottawa (have the prepaid xpresspost ready).
If you would still like to double check (Since they said "Every Country"), I would recommend giving CIC a call. Don't email as it is worthless.

ive got a question. is it ok to email them about my contact number changes. i recently change my phone number but every info is the same except for my number. i just emailed them awhile ago telling that i changed my number, would it matter if i already sent my passport?

One guy had just moved from his address that was on file with CIC. So his return envelope was addressed to the new address. He didn't even email CPC Ottawa regarding the address change. He got a call from a friendly CIC officer who just wanted to make sure that they send the passport to the right address, and after verifying that the address on envelope is correct, the officer mailed him the passport to the new address. The important thing to note here is that his phone number/email address remained unchanged. So as long as you have 2 out of 3 contact info correct, I don't think it's going to be a problem. (Address change is a much bigger deal than phone number change IMHO).

Yeah only phone number was changed and i even wrote down my new number in the return envelop. I think
Youre right coz cic didnt contact me through phone ever since all communications are in email. So what i did was wrote down my new number in the return envelop and emailed them. Thanks

Hi guys

I have a special situation here

Apparently they have sent an email to me from CIC requesting a copy of my passport but I have never recieved it. The call center agents are not able to read the email to me so that I know which email address was provided. I may need to wait 3 month to get another email and maybe that one would also get lost on the way Can any one help me with the email address of Ottawa case processing center.
