Good news guys! I will quit whining now. Got my PPR like 5 mins ago. My AOR was April 22nd and online ecas is still on Application Received (MER). Good luck to all who have been on the same boat. Don't worry about not getting IP Or DM. Hopefully you all will get PPR direct! Good luck ;D ;D ;D

Landed, COPR! Everything was a breeze!!!!

Hi there. I did call CIC last week when they told me that my file is In Process, and that they just didn't update it on their ecas. But the sad truth is that I have never seen anyone get a Passport Request whilst their ecase shows mer. It has to be "IN Process" in ecas before PPR is issued and that makes me wonder what really is stopping them from putting it "In Process" if it really is in process.
April 7 applicant
No ip no dm just straight ppr

Congrats you guys. I'm a March 2014 applicant and did medical in April and paid RPRF in May. My status still says "application received" but I get a little bit of hope from the posts above. :P

Thanks buddy. Absolutely! I am fairly hopeful that they are finishing up our batch as soon as they can and are therefore skipping the process of updating online. Mine was straight from "Application Received" to PPR. So there is no reason why yours won't be! :) I hope it comes soon for you! Keep checking your email.

Can anyone tell me whether the CanadaPost Express Post envelopes be addressed to the PO Box address or the Laurier Avenue address when sending passport to Ottawa?
The guy at CanadaPost told me to address it to PO Box address, and not the courier. But my friend who sent the passport 2 weeks back had sent those to the Laurier Avenue address and received her passport back in 8 working days.
TIA

Just as I feared. Thanks for your reply stimitak. Have you heard of any problems if people send Canada Express Post envelopes it to PO Box? I have been digging through the forum, but don't see anything that points negatively/positively so far.
