I have got request for RCMP fingerprints check. My spouse also lives with me. The request was only emailed to me. Do both of us need to get it done? For medical, we got separate requests.

Congrats brother!mfwpg said:Guys, finally some news from my end.
I'm sleepless and just checked e-cas:
"We started processing your application on January 27, 2015"
Yay!!!
If you get an appointment with RCMP with in a week or two go for new finger prints. Or if the appointment date is more than that then just inform the CIC about ur submitted rcmp clearance. As far as I know, ur old finger prints will be good if you are in canada since the time you submitted your application, I mean if you didn't go out of canada for vacation.inamulhaq said:Hello every one,
Hope Evey one is doing fine. I have to ask you guys a question on RCMP fingerprints check. I am April 23 applicant and submitted my RCMP fingerprints in June 2014 but I have recently got email from Ottawa for RCMP finger prints again. The email also says disregard request if you have submitted fingerprints already.
I need you guys suggestion whether I should go for new RCMP fingerprints or should let Ottawa know that I have submitted one already.
Replies would be appreciates.
Thanks
Thanks Dileep Kumar, I appreciate your time to reply on my question. I have not gone outside Canada after submitting PR application but even then I will try to get new finger prints done if there are not major delays.dileep kumar said:If you get an appointment with RCMP with in a week or two go for new finger prints. Hey Aman,aman.1186 said:My application is with CPC-Ottawa.
If your certificate has RCMP fingerprints included then you don't have to worry about it. You may send them an email reply stating it was already submitted. In my case they have clearly said that you don't have to submit again if it was already done.
I received an email two days ago requesting a fingerprint based criminal record check from my wife as well. And I know for sure we submitted to CIC in our original application.inamulhaq said:Hey Aman,
I also got email from Ottawa for RCMP fingerprints check but I already submitted one in June last year after getting my file number. Guys I need suggestion, should I email Ottawa and tell them that I submitted already or get new one?
Anyone had experience? Pls share thanks

Here is an explanation from my immigration consultant. " CIC must be misplaced your wife's clearance report when they do internal transfer, and that happens a lot. To save your processing time, you'd better redo it and sent it to them again."
We took my consultant advice and did one yesterday. I would suggest you doing the same. GOOD LUCK, Buddy.

Thanks for reply I appreciate it..as suggested I will go for resending RCMP clearance check.
Is it possible fingerprints results go to CPC Ottawa directly from RCMP or I should mail myself... What do you suggest?
Thanks
