You have to send passport to get immigration visa stamp on your passport. Which is required for flag polling. Unless you are from visa exempt county in this case they will ask for copy of your passport and send you Copr letter. This letter is proof of your pr application finalization.

I know that you don't need an invitation to land in Canada from my country, and when you are at the border they usually give you a 6 months tourism Visa.

You will receive email with instructions and would be asking you one last time for the change is status etc. And thenew you will receive Copr letter
