Finally! I received my oath invite at Dec 16, 9:30 am yesterday . It just 8 days between DM and oath invite. Great job Scarborough office.

My friend PapaBear became a citizen today! I am still waiting for the invite.

The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

*Note: Citizenship and Immigration Canada does sometimes schedule events on Saturdays or Sundays.

I took my Oath on 1st December at Scarborough and now a Canadian Citizen.

Thank you for all your help through the journey.

Got my invite dated Nov 30 today (via regular mail) for Dec 16 ceremony.

Still waiting for DM in online e-cas status. Did the test on OCT 3rd. Mississauga Applicant but was placed for test @ Scarborough. Feeling frustrated when found out people did test way after me and got their oath invite.

Did the test on Dec 4th, scored 20/20. The questions were similar to the ones form the online tests but studying the book at least twice is highly recommended. The interview as pretty good, I had a lot of travels to the US as well as had H1B's in the past. I had all the answers ready beforehand on my travel. Anyways the interviewer said he was okay with all the documents, checked everything and said we will get the oath invite soon.The status changed to DM on Dec 7th.
