sure hope so..good luck with ur application..living in such uncertain terms is taking its toll on my mental health..hope for PR before my work permit expires or else a BOWP that is not rejectedImmiToCanada said:I also got rejected due to PCC error last year. The cut off for this draw is a bit higher than all previous draw this year. According to previous trend, the cutoff will decrease inevitably and hope you will receive ITA very soon~
Thanks for the info Lexie. I am a Canadian bachelor's degree holder and even with the best English scores and 1 year work experience, the highest people in my category can obtain is 444. This is quite frustrating tbh :'(lexie.tang said:I have a canadian MA degree and a foreign BA degree. just 1 year canadian work experience.
I took CELPIP, 9 9 9 10. but just took another one last week and was expecting to boost my score again. I think if I get above 10 on all 4 sections, I can get 9 points boosted.
However, it still looks not high enough
i had the same score with 1 year work, then i reached 2 years work experience and it became 469 i believeBA2LAMAZ said:Thanks for the info Lexie. Immigration lawyers and consulting firms will always say that the round of invitations will have lower scores... it has always been like that.BA2LAMAZ said:Thanks for the info Lexie. To accommodate more refugees, they are cutting down skilled people.Encore said:The news is so bad that people are willing to call it fake. But it is not. It is true and quite sad.
Some people already say it marks a switch in gears, but we may still need further confirmation from sebsequent draws. If they are as bad as this one, then, it will be confirmed as a chnage of gers from economic to humaniterian for sure.
On to the next challenge.
Given the new targets, it pretty much has to. If they do larger draws, there will be fewer of them to compensate.Aragorn165 said:Still, this is just one cutoff- it does not mark a trend. Maybe this is just an aberration. We would have to wait and see more.
Lucky for you. By the time I complete 2 years of working, I would have only 3 months left on my PGWP.twztedelegance said:i had the same score with 1 year work, then i reached 2 years work experience and it became 469 i believe
Yes, that seems to be a problem- plus, given new people entering the pools all the time, plus the PNPs, it seems as though the trend is, currently, towards steadily rising CRS cutoffs.kateg said:Given the new targets, it pretty much has to. You do not need very many ties to the province- I have never even been to Canada, let alone Ontario, and I managed to land myself an OINP PNP. You should look into the program for sure.BA2LAMAZ said:Lucky for you. By the time I complete 2 years of working, I would have only 3 months left on my PGWP.
Even the OONP is a far cry as I do not have any ties to the province.
Now you understand my plight right? lol
hope ur wrong as im at 469riasat.abir said:To accommodate more refugees, they are cutting down skilled people.
With 1000 of invitation in each round and more provincial nominees - I don't see any chances for the ITA to go below 470 anytime soon..
