March 6th 2015 - CEC application

Hi All,
I submitted my CEC PR application with NOC 2174 on March 6th and on March 7th I got AOR and from then my application status in Open.

I've check the ECAS no status reported..


I would like to check the status of the other CEC applicants who applied on or after March 7th 2015.

Please let me know your responses.

NOC 2283, Submitted on 12th March, AOR Same day, No progress yet !!

I really dont believe with this same phase CIC can complete the PR application assessment with in 6 months .. Isn't? Out of 6 draws they decided only <5 applicants from Jan 2015

Application Transmitted : March 5th 2015
AOR : March 6th 2015

Status from then

Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time

It wouldnt be long. They are probably moving as per profile creation date.

Once processing starts, it wouldnt take very long to complete the application for them.

oh ok Good. Im just guessing I belong to 2174 ..

Is it that CIC giving less preference to NOC 2174

I am also 2174, my case hasnt seen any processing so far. But I do not think it is because of NOC, they probably want to complete processing in 6 months starting profile creation date. So they seem to be moving in small batches.

Hey since you are a CEC applicant, can you please confirm whether you were asked to show of proof of funds or not? Thanks

When I created the profile I entered 15,000 and when I file my application Since Im CEC applicant based on this site I didn't showed any proof.. There are soo many threads based on funds related stuff...

You do not have to show that you have these funds if:

you have a valid offer of arranged employment in Canada AND ----------- Since I've valid offer and currently working on NOC 2174
you are currently working or authorized to work in Canada. ----------- Currently working in Canada

Under above category I dont need to show proof of funds .. so I kept NOA-- Notice of Assessment , Pay stubs , every month bank statement showing my salary account

Apart from it ... No balance is shown and its not required
