Hi,
How much your local MP was able to help? My MP office requested to bump my wife's TRV application a month ago which is 50 days beyond processing time and last time IRCC told them that thats all they can do. The request was sent and nothing else can be done. I bet the MP office should be able to follow up why their request was not considered?

Actually I verified in my tracker, that eligibility was not started yet. But in portal it says in progress

How much your local MP was able to help? My MP office requested to bump my wife's TRV application a month ago which is 50 days beyond processing time and last time IRCC told them that thats all they can do. The request was sent and nothing else can be done. I bet the MP office should be able to follow up why their request was not considered?

My local MP can only inquire about the status of the application. They didn't provide me with a support letter or anything. I've heard other MPs have provided support letters but not mine. The previous application mentioned two reasons for rejection. One being limited employment opportunities and the other was strong ties to Canada. The application got rejected about a year ago, I requested GCMIS notes and sent a reconsideration request letter to the visa office but had no luck in getting a response last year. I'm hoping they'd consider the new application favourably.
