My partner got everything clear today, just waiting for Oat. I submitted my Fingerprint about 2 weeks ago but haven't heard anything yet
that mostly apply to people that apply now or in the future. not those who have applied prior.FYI
Processing time for a citizenship grant has been reduced to 7 months from 8 months, according to the latest update.
Yes, it applies to new applicants. But at least IRCC is making efforts to improve and expedite the process. Historically, they have been quite slow, and the process/wait is often quite frustrating. We can expect our cases to be finalized in under 8 months.that mostly apply to people that apply now or in the future. not those who have applied prior.
ok and....... i am simply saying it has no relevance to march applicants or anyone who applied prior to july. only to those there after.. because you have some persons on these forums that thinks anytime there is new processing time it automatically applies to their application which it doesn't. that's all i was stating... work with whatever was the processing time when you applied and hope that your app completed under that time frame.Yes, it applies to new applicants. My AOR was April 2. I have had two GUs, then a FP request. I had my FPs done and waiting on the RCMP. I also had a Physical Presence completed this week. My file is in the Vancouver office.Anyone with early April AOR who is still waiting to hear back? There's absolutely no movement on my application and I am wondering of now is a good time to contact IRCC
I, too, have almost the exact same timeline.I have similar timeline. Did you get any update regarding Fingerprints?
thank youYou’re well within the normal processing timeline so not sure what you’d gain from trying to contact IRCC at this time. Applications take time. I suggest not focusing on it for a while and doing literally anything else.
