I got the same Email. This is the AOR.

but we are not able to track applications. We tried multiple times. It is because they have not entered our application into the system yet.

Why can’t I create an account in the application status tracker for my permanent residence application? (cic.gc.ca)

AOR email send out at specific time or random anytime of the day ?
Mine is paper application and delivered on 8th March, No AOR yet.

Seems to take 6 weeks or more for paper apps to get an AOR.

Thanks. But I am just wondering if they send email at specific time like 7am in morning everyday ? Or they send it randomly throughout a day ?

Finally submitted my citizenship application

I was only able to create a tracker account on March 21st, 2023. Good luck to us all.

Great news! As per the progress for February applicants, if there is no strike, March applicants should begin receiving test invitations later next week.

I applied for citizenship online, from within Canada on 1 March 2023
I got an email on 17 March, saying:

"UCI: my uci​

Application No.: beginning with C​

Quote these numbers when corresponding with our office.​

This is an automated message. Please DO NOT RESPOND to this message. ​

Dear (me),​

Please find information concerning your application for citizenship in the attached document.​

Sincerely,​

Citizenship Official"​

An attached pdf says:

"Subject: APPLICATION FOR CANADIAN CITIZENSHIP....This is to acknowledge receipt of your application for Canadian Citizenship. We will review your application and supporting documents and will contact you if additional information is required..." this email has the UCI and application number as well.​

The term AOR / Acknowledgment of receipt isn't mentioned anywhere. Is this the AOR? I am asking because my online portal says:

"Application(s) submitted!​

This is not your acknowledgement of receipt (AOR)​

An AOR confirms that we’ve started processing the application(s).​

You’ll get your AOR​

after all applications are submitted and​

we check that they’re completeStatus of your application: Submitted for our review​

As of March 1, 2023"​

Seems like the online portal wasn't updated after 1 March. Do you think that's my actual AOR or just a temporary confirmation?

the website you used to submit the application will not be updated. It's a very disorganized system, don't worry about it.

What website are you using? They have 2 different ones, with a slight difference, used for different applications.

They send it when they have something to say to you.
