March 2022 - citizenship applications

Hi all
I am an online applicant applied on 2 April 2022 AOR 22 April 2022 and my test completed on 10 Nov and FP request on 7 Nov send them on 10 Nov and they were received on 28 Nov and after that no updates just had a ghost update on Mar 2 2023
So I called ircc and find out that my application is non routine because of the FP request so it will be longer Time then usual 23 months so it means I will not see any movement till next year and it made me crawl under my skin and I have no words to explain my feelings
So can someone else had the fingerprints requested and get their application moving and how much time it took to get the oath invitation
Please help if someone can

That sounds weird, I've seen others that have had FP request that have completed oath...

I got fingerprint request in October 2022. Did my fingerprint on Nov 7, they received on Nov 20, Background marked as completed on Nov 25. Test on Dec 16, LPP completed on Feb 16, Waiting on Oath ceremony.

Did you receive the citizenship certificate? My oath ceremony was on March 15; but I am still, waiting for the certificate.

The agent is bs'ing. Fingerprints request doesn't mean that its non-routine application. My wife applied 3months after me as a paper applicant, and she got FP request. We sent them FP in 2 days. They updated background check after 7 months. We're now both waiting for oath separately with everything else completed.

Waiting for oath after everything else is complete is so irritating. I got my LPP completed on early March and then have been checking the portal every day since hoping that the oath will start to show in progress.

Still, you're lucky I would say, many of us are waiting for LLP to be completed since November!

This is true. If I didn't have LPP complete I would be moaning and complaining about that.

I guess I just want this process to end now.

You are not alone. Lot of applicants are there like you who completed test in November and then having no updates

I'm the same as you except took the test on November 21 - nothing since. I got my test request from the West office.

Any update on your FOIA request? Wondering how long its taking them to get that info now.

Which line did you call?

I applied for first GCMS in early November 2022. Then applied for second notes in early Jan. Did not receive any of them.

I had applied for GCMS in November and had not heard from them for 3 months. I filed a complaint with OIC and within 2 weeks they sent me my report.
