Seems like there have been mass updates of background checks on Oct 25th (just a theory). Lots of people reporting background check completed on Oct 25th.

Congratulations! Finally the file is moving along. What resources did you use to prep for the test? I would appreciate if you could share some here.
I Just read Discovery Canada and some practice questions online (https://www.apnatoronto.com/canadian-citizenship-test-practice/). That's all, scored 20/20. The questions were not hard at all.

Fingerprint request or Background check. If background check is completed, they will not ask for fingerprints. Check back Monday or Tuesday. GL.

It's encouraging that those of us who applied online are seeing updates and progress on our applications. Good luck to all of you on your tests.
I am curious about who else is exempt from the tests (55+) like I am. Did you receive any notification about the language or citizenship test? Or were your tracker updates the only notification?

You see updates on tracker. Email comes for test and oath after tracker update, other than that everything else is only on tracker.
If you are >55 and there is no interview, language, or test requirements: you'll see "Prohibitions" and "Physical Presence" change to complete first at that time a decision has been made in your case. After that you can expect oath invite in a few months time.

The application status for the children is currently showing in progress.
