Seems like there have been mass updates of background checks on Oct 25th (just a theory). Lots of people reporting background check completed on Oct 25th.

Fingerprint request or Background check. If background check is completed, they will not ask for fingerprints. Check back Monday or Tuesday. GL.Hello all
I had a ghost update on 26 October and when I checked today there is again ghost update today 28 October but everything else is in progress
What’s the meaning of this updates can anyone elaborate please

I am curious about who else is exempt from the tests (55+) like I am. Did you receive any notification about the language or citizenship test? Or were your tracker updates the only notification?
If you are >55 and there is no interview, language, or test requirements: you'll see "Prohibitions" and "Physical Presence" change to complete first at that time a decision has been made in your case. After that you can expect oath invite in a few months time.Hi forum friends,
