I tried to track with ECAS after I had Application No, but it doesn't work.

Please use below URL to access Citizenship application status

inorder to register you need to receive AOR. normal ECAS will not work for Citizenship Application

Received random email from Ircc regarding account creation that was done on March 20 but they said Application started processing on April 13th, maybe that is the AOR date. 27 months from that date is the wait time now!

Hi Everyone,
We applied through Paper filing for Family of 3 and the application was delivered on Mar 30, 2022. My lawyer say that they expect AoR to take 3-4 months.

However, based on forum it looks like almost everyone here have their AoR. CIC site says that right now they are processing applicationis recieved in the week of Apr 6, 2022.

Is it normal to take it more than a month to get AoR?

Same here I also received one this morning

Anecdotal data point: I was getting a haircut in mid April and the barber said he applied in December and he had the exam earlier that same day.
so the whole thing could be as short as 4 months, dont keep your hopes down!

Dec to mid april is amazing... lets see man.. i don't know if there's a concept of ghost update in citizenship application

Got my AOR yesterday, below is the updated timeline. I tried to create my profile on the status tracker website but it complains my UIC and/or Application No. is wrong, I guess (hope) it is because I just received the AOR and in a few days I will be able to do it

Wait at least 24 hours. Sometimes there are technical issues with the tracker, but they resolve it pretty quickly. Good luck.

On average, how long does the background check take? Looking at the excel sheets posted in this forum, online applications take longer than the paper application. Does anyone have link to March 2022 citizenship applications. TY.

It has been 22 days since I last checked my citizenship application status on the portal.

It's a game I am playing to avoid checking the application status. Let's see how long I can wait before I give in to the temptation.
