I am in the same situation. My background check was completed on October 19th and I have received no updates since. It seems that this is the case for anyone who was processed through the Niagara Falls office.

This is so annoying. And given the slow pace of movement, I am beginning to have a bad feeling about this. The 24 month timeline is there for a reason, and I have a feeling I will find out exactly why the average is 24 months.
You have a right to be upset, but you are not alone. Think positive and stay positive. You will have your test soon and the rest might go a bit faster from there. Our time will come. Have faith and trust in the system. Yes, I know it is not perfect. :)
i was in the same sitution , was waiting and hoping month after month ....... my application tooke 04 years and 3months to be finished , crazy system

WOW. This is the longest I have known for anyone.

Congratulations though. I am glad the ordeal is finally over for you. It must have been extremely painful to wait for so long. How did you set expectations?

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has any guidance on travelling (flying) in between oath ceremony and receiving a Canadian passport if we have to cut up PR cards? Any one know anyone with experience on the wait times, or know a good forum to check out? I believe we can travel across the land boarder with the Oath certificate. I need to do some work travel over the next few months.

I still have some waiting to go, but my timeline is below, hoping for some movement soon on language/physical presence/prohibitions

Office: Vancouver
App type: Single, Online
Physical Days: 1261
Sent: March 23th 2022
AOR: April 20th 2022
BG Complete: Oct 28th
Test invite Nov 14th (date range Nov 21-Dec 12)
Passed test: Nov 25th
Tracker updated Dec 2nd
GU: Dec 16th (reset after glitch)
Language/physical presence/ prohibitions: In progress
Ceremony: Not started
I recently applied for passport by mail. It took approximately 25 days to arrive.

I just got fingerprint requests. I'm freaking out a little though because it's saying I have to have my Record of Landing to submit them but I cannot find it anywhere. Did anyone have issues getting fingerprints without it?? Do I absolutely need it??

I had my interview today, and I will be resubmitting a revised physical presence calculation when I receive an email requesting me to submit it.
IRCC has requested proof of my time spent outside of Canada by providing US Customs Border Patrol records on my entries into the USA. I have submitted a FOIA request to US CPB.

Don’t worry I also didn’t find mine and they just need your PR card and an ID and I got it done from a private agency
So I think you will be fine

Isnt the record of landing the document for those who entered Canada prior to 2002?
When did you enter?

Record of landing can also be your copr the one that the immigration officer stamps when you arrive. I lost my husband's original but I had a scanned copy as back up. It has not valid for travel on it
