Hi,

1. I think you don't need to submit the entire statement. Pick pages that have transaction between you and highlight the same. That is what I did.

2. Try to add as much as evidences possible. Eg. Nomination statement from a Bank or pass book page showing your spouse as nominee vice versa, Joint account if any etc

Usually it means that they opened your file and did something to it. Sometimes you know the reason in a few hours or days like a medical request or biometrics or additional documents. Sometimes you don’t know. It’s a good sign though that they are working on your application.

Did you get an email that your application was updated, or did you check gckey without a notice.

I actually just checked the GCKEY, which I usually do daily I have to find out from my wife (PA) if she received any email. We already completed BIO and most recently medical (06/26), so updates can only be on eligibility or background checks. I'll take your word that it's usually a good sign

My Wife just did the Medical on 21st. We had also seen the same (Application/profile Updated ) in our GC key for once and it went back to Submitted now. I believe, this means they might have received the Medical test results and may have updated something about it.

You can look for appointments in other VFS centres across the country. If unable to find appointments anywhere, just raise a webform and inform IRCC that this was the latest date available for biometrics. They would be aware of the facts that covid has drastically impacted the appointment timeframe.

Thanks for your reply. Im getting for september in only one vfs office. Can i book that so i can show to cic. But they have given only 30 days to submit biometrics.

Send a web form telling them the date you could get in Sept., they know there are big delays right now, shouldn't be a problem.
