I got the T4 for 2020 last week only and i am planning to send the application this week . How to fill the Tax question in the application . I will put Required to File ? as Yes and Taxes Filed as No and then write an letter saying i got the T4 recently and will file the tax in a week's time something like that ?

Also my photographs were taken on 30 Dec 2020 . Is it good to submit them ? by the time i get AOR , may be the photo will be 6 months old ..

or this 6 month photo period is only between time of photo taken and application sign date ?

Photo requirement is from the photo taken date to application received. So you are good there.

Regarding tax, the required to file should be yes for 2020 tax year, and the taxes filed should be no if you have not yet filed. If you provide your SIN they will be able to see your tax history so don't stress - just add a letter explaining that when you sent your application you had not filed your 2020 tax return.

The good thing about the application process is it is processed by humans so they can understand why you said no to the question.

Processing dates to AOR is almost the same, some December online applicants have received test invites already, but it appears it was just a group of people that received that, as this is a pilot, no one knows which is better at this point.

Yes you need your UCI (located in the front of your PR Card as ID No. XXXX-XXXX) and the exact date the COPR shows as your landing date, which I think you can find in the back of your PR card (PR since). Hopes this helps

You can apply online if you are applying as individual here: https://citapply-citdemande.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/landing
Or paper if it is a family application, you will find all the information here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...itizenship/become-canadian-citizen/apply.html

Yes, I am also confused about that (applying for my spouse this month).

Initially processing was faster for online applicants, but there is no progress for online applicants since last 10 days. There is lot of discussion around online applications in December Online applications thread.
