Because online is only for individuals now that meet certain criteria. Family applications have to be presented on paper applications.
December online applicants received AOR almost at the same time as the paper applicants, but some of them have received Test invites, which could indicate the process will be faster for online applicants after AOR has been received.
Wait, you got an email? This must be a new thing after the last update on March 2nd. What is in the email exactly? AOR?

I know some people complained about calling cic and the agents not finding online applications so they were worried their application is missing.

Good luck! What was the content of the email? December to February online applicants didn't get an email upon submission. Just curios if it's eAOR?
The email is a Submission confirmation. It says that an AOR will be send via email once they start reviewing the application. it can take some time before that happens.
