Guys, what does “biometrics passed” means in the spreadsheet?
Do you get any update once you pass biometrics or if you see enrolment number on gc key it means you passed?

that’s fine. i’m not chinese and i never visit china but they transfer my file to china . that’s because ottawa office have so many files so they are transferring the files to other offices.

Biometrics is not a pass or fail item, it is just data collection.

Why is ottawa taking so long to give passport requests?
After 31st dec no one received ppr from ottawa, why is this?

I think they give bulk passport requests. I’m waiting since Jan 8. What about you? Let’s hope it’s once a month thing and we get it this upcoming week *fingers crossed*

Any update on yours?

Checked my ECAS today after 4-5 days and its also changed to Application Recieved from in process, is it a good sign file moved to NDVO around 23 October 2020

mine was also transferred on 23rd Oct 2020 NDVO but ECAS still "in process".

Stamped passport received: Jan 23, 2021

Thank you so very much everyone for your assistance and for being like a family over the past 8-9 months or so. I wish and pray that each and every one of you receive the go-ahead to join their loved ones as soon as possible.

Given the current situation in Ontario (lockdown and curfew), planning to travel in March. Let's see how things go.

Ottawa hasn't even been sending out enough DMs in last few weeks. it may have to do with the Ontario lockdown they're dealing with right now. case workers may be unable to get to their work system or just unable to work.

You are talking about passport requests. Some people had no updates since March 2020.
