Meanwhile, I recieved an invitation to pre-arrival services and was emailed by ircc and have submitted my passport. Does this mean that a decision has been made and the visa was approved? The subject in the e-mail is Ready for Visa. Please enlighten me.

If they have asked for passport that means your visa is approved and maybe they haven’t updated your account yet. Did you try using online tool?

Met eligibility as sponsor and medical request 13 October
App forwarded to cpc Ottawa 15 October
Pre arrival services 14 November
Medical passed 27 November
Nothing after that

Did you do biometrics? That usually holds up decision made

The application status will change to "approved" once they stamp a visa in your passport

No, I also got pre-arrival services a month ago and then they asked for additional documents. No DM yet. I think pre-arrival services was generated as part of the process but the DM wont come until they decide you are approved as PR.

I got very excited too and thought DM/PPR would come right after...very close but not there yet.

No, neither me nor my husband received any biometrics letter at all.
