March 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

Our application was received on March 2nd 2020 , family application ,by my knowledge it should be in IRCC Kitchener office , last update was on April 23rd 2021 ( without any actual update ) my bckgrnd was cleared on January 20th ,21 and beside that nothing , my husband even don't have bckgrnd cleared ...no test invite , no any updates .

Somewhere is stuck, and it's so frustrating that changed my personality...I was really happy about other people getting good news ( while we was waiting on ours ) but this long lasting gravely silence from them killed any leftover of joy in me.

I honestly just cried guys OMG;.....So I check this forum periodically and then sign on to my tracker(s) almost everyday. I came to the forum few minutes ago and then checked the New Tracker and there I see Invite for Ceremony on December 2nd!!! I'm so excited, tears of joy ran down cos its been so long waiting for THIS!

Only "Citizenship Ceremony" is at Not Started

I hear you. I have the exact same dates as your application - March 2 2020 application received, Background check cleared Jan 20 2021 and last update on April 23 2021. Nothing since. Any web inquiry gives the same Afghanistan auto-response spiel! So frustrating.

Same here, even the March 23 dates are the same and my application is still in CPC-Sydney

Logged into my tracker today, and everything was changed to completed except the citizenship ceremony! So relieved and happy!!!!

i took my online test on October 31st.
What is the next step after this? Do they ask everybody for the copy of the passport pages before DM or Oath Ceremony Invitation?

Typically. Save yourself time by scanning it now and having that prepared.

I was asked for it, and a week after submitting, I was asked for my US exits/entries history too.
