Hi! Update on the citizenship email invite: Just wanted to let you know I finally got the email invite yesterday for the Oct 21 ceremony. So a week prior to ceremony on my end.

Thanks. Hoping to receive it before our oath! I've sent a webform as per their instructions if you don't receive the oath taking email.

I'll bug them for a call today until Tuesday next week.

So basically 4-5 business days before your oath. Mine is on 26th, so assuming I will get it between 20-21.

I thought of updating everyone for reference.


My oath taking is scheduled on October 19th (Tuesday) as of yesterday (Oct 14th - Thursday). This is upon checking the online status.

Sent a web form to request for the invitation email.

I was able to contact IRCC office as well.

Here's the assistance that the agent made:

She contacted Calgary office saying about my status that I'm about to take the oath taking as scheduled per their system on Oct 19th but I haven't received any email instructions yet.

Worst scenario she says that if Calgary office won't be able to give the instructions on time and if I miss the oath taking because of their fault, it will be automatic that they'll reschedule my oath.

She also mentioned that she recorded my phone call so the visa officers of Calgary office will see that I have done all the things within my control so she says not to worry about it.

Oh I meant, I submitted a webform asking I didn't get the email lol

Had a ghost update on the profile today.
On right top it shows "Updated: October 15, 2021"

Anyone waiting for oath had anything similar?

Someone on other thread reported that after ghost update his/her status changed to "In Process" again from "Decision Made". Seems its some kind of glitch..

Just received the oath letter. It is for 1:30PM (Time Zone) (Canada). Does anyone know what that means? is that a typo? is it EST or PST? I am located in Vancouver

This should be local time, I have ADT (Halifax). Yours should be PST. I think it's a typo.

Hi,
I got the ghost update.
Portal got updated but no progress.
Also, The old tracker goes back to IN PROCESS from a decision made
I am really worried.
My DM was on 26 July
Everything got completed on the new tracker except the citizenship ceremony on 26th July

We are exactly on the same boat. DM for me also Jul-26 and ghost update yesterday.

You should have applied for pr renewal few months ago.

True, but as I mentioned, I wasn't ever planning on renewing, and now that I have looked into how long an application takes I will probably wait it out.
