Does anyone know what is the time lag when u see an update in cic application tracker that a test is scheduled nd u receive the email in ur email I’d? I got an update in my tracker today nd they say they will send a mail nd that test will b done between 22 oct to 11 nov. I m feeling anxious. Any feedback is much appreciated??

for me it took two days between the update and the actual email

Lots of October oaths, including one for the Calgary office, which is awesome!! I haven't been scheduled for the oath yet, but just in case I do and it is also for October, I have a leisure trip to the US all booked and paid for the beginning of November....is there any document that I could use to return to Canada? Would they accept a cut-up PR card? I just want to prepare in case this happens for me soon as well. I would hate to have to reschedule my oath after waiting for so long

Is there any thread for Oath to Certificate or passport timeline?

Or if anyone can tell me how long it takes to get the certificate from the oath date? Is this random? Sorry, I am planning to go back home so just trying to get some idea.

Hi,
I got the ghost update.
Portal got updated but no progress.
Also, The old tracker goes back to IN PROCESS from a decision made
I am really worried.
My DM was on 26 July
Everything got completed on the new tracker except the citizenship ceremony on 26th July

Dont worry.. it will be alright.. its just a ghost update.. it means they are reviewing the file for final dates and allocation for next event.

That is what is a speculation to be honest and i am not sure if that is the exact thing or step.. someone can chime in - i have read in some forum thread that this exact same situation happened for them also..

Hey Calgary people, read this!!!

I have no email notification but upon checking my CIC status, I'm scheduled for oath taking on October 19th! That's next week!

Anyone on the same boat of not yet receiving the oathtaking instructions? Mine is pretty tight on schedule, it's Oct 15th today and my oath based on online status will be on Oct 19th already.

I'm writing a web form currently and will call them today. Anyone on the same boat?
