I am hoping we will get ours soon.. maybe by Oct 15?

Yes yes fingers crossed by October 15th, I am so so hopeful for this week. Can you imagine this will be over and completed? What are we gonna do in the coming years

I just checked it like 15 mins ago actually, so not sure what time they updated it.
And no I didn't get an email!
It is really exciting to see some movement for our March group and Halifax office!

Updated yesterday. Oath ceremony is in progress and the date is scheduled on October 20. I have a question when I can receive the oath ceremony invitation email? Thank you and wish all of us good luck!

You will receive email circa Oct 14.

Passport is ten business days if u apply in person. You may get next day if you do in- person and express pick-up

Hi guys, I have an update today (October 6, 2021).

Citizenship oath activity status updated - Oct. 5, 2021
Scheduled for Citizenship oath - Oct. 18, 2021

Finally, Saskatoon is now working.

Here's my timeline below:
Language Skills - Completed (July 2, 2021)
Physical presence - Completed (July 2, 2021)
Citizenship test - Completed (April 23, 2021)
Background verification - Completed (Jan 20, 2021)
Prohibitions - Completed (July 2, 2021)
Citizenship ceremony - In progress (scheduled on October 18, 2021)

My PR card expiring mid-october. I did not renew it when i got my DM on citizenship on 21 July, i thought i ll get an oath invite in max 2 months. But now its been 2 and half months. Did i make a mistake?
What would be my options to travel outside Canada after mid october, lets say in case of some rare family emergency back home.
Please advise.

Not your fault, everyone would expect to get the oath asap after DM. However, this is not the case now..

I think you don't have any choice but to wait for your oath to get your passport for travel or renew your PR card.

I think the options are 1. emailing to your local office to request urgent processing, 2. emailing to your MP to request urgent processing 3. Writing this case on Twitter to IRCC`s account, 4. writing this to Prime Minister on Twitter.

I actually received a reply on Twitter from IRCC before during the work permit application I hope it works, it is stressful.
