I'm going on a month after DM with the ceremony still "Not Started." How long is it prudent to wait before submitting a web form? I know some folks said they were successful in noticing updates after submitting one, so I am thinking about doing that. I am guessing the staff has once again been diverted away from citizenship to attend to other things

I am getting slightly worried. I have not heard back from IRCC. My timeline is in my signature and also below:

Richmond Public library has province-specific questions and I want to know if they ask province-specific questions in the test? e.g What is the name of the Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario?

I believe someone mention they called and ask the agent. They confirm the file is approved. I am not sure though. Curious myself.
Try to call them and let me know as well.

Hi, I called the call centre and they confirmed the citizenship was granted. Waiting for the oath invite now, it shows as Not Started. Last update was on August 10th. Hope we will receive an invite soon

No one from Montreal has seen any changes in their files since late April I have decision made since April 23, no oath invitation yet.

I am from Montreal, saw a change on July 20 to decision made, but I haven't seen anyone go beyond that stage from Montreal :/

How did you reach them? I am never able to reach to an agent. :/

Again tried a couple of times, when i finally reach the talk to agent option after 10 mins, they say that due to high volume we cant put you through and then they disconnect.

Anybody has ever heard of DM as a rejection? or DM is always equivalent to approval? Please pour in your inputs.

If the tracker shows everything as "Complete" except Oath AND overall status shows In Progress, it means it's approved. If it was denied, your overall status will say "Closed".

Are they sending Oath invites by email only these days? Anyone received it by an actual mail?

Upon submission of your FP, it usually takes a month to update the background check portion of your application.
