My application was sent on March 23 and received on March 27.

Till today, I still didn't receive AOR but since two weeks when I access ecas using uci, it shows application received but the details shows one line only (you applications has been received on 27 March 2020), no information on AOR.

any help what this may mean?

SAME BOAT. APP RECEIVED MARCH 10, RETURNED AND RESENT AUG 12, NO AOR.

They haven't started with August applications yet.

Same happened to me , just be assured that they have your application and they will send you AOR in coming days . No need to worry now

Hi , my Pr card is expiring in feb, but I need to have my card as I need to be able to travel abroad anytime.
I sent the application in September , and no AOR yet. I am worrying .
for citizenship app, I received AOR on 25 August, but no IP yet.
Any advise on how I make a request for urgent processing of my PR card?

I would like to clarify regarding my foreign passport. I have applied Citizenship on Mar 2020 and I got AOR. Meanwhile my foreign (current original) passport is expired and applied for renewal. My question here,
- Should I need to contact CIC Canada & update the new Passport Number & details ? (or) its not required.
- If I need to update CIC, how should I & what is the process/

Passport requirements for citizenship are just for the eligibility period, your new passport is out of the eligibility period. In my opinion, you don't have to update IRCC, but you still have to show them all your passport ( for the eligibility period) including the new one during the interview.

Since you can see status for the application it will be good idea to give them call to check if they sent AOR or not but at least your application is showing in system

I don't think you can now. But I wouldn't worry, you'll get your new one in time.

You and I are in a similar situation. Except that I have no plans to travel at this time.
But I see that you have 2 options if you have not received your PR card by the time you traveled,

1) Have someone send you a new PR card from Canada.
2) Apply for PRTD (Permanent Resident Travel Document) same $50 fee, you can apply for urgent processing if needed
