I hope they switch to online application for citizenship instead of paper based one.
A lot of cases of incomplete application can be avoided where the application is returned due to a printing mistake or a missed document.
It is very frustrating to have the application returned after months of waiting.

Hi, so today I am also able to look at my application through ECAS, but it has my old address as the current mailing address. This seems strange to me, anyone else had this issue? I guess I'll update it through the website. Also, according to the application tracker on there they received my application on March 5 not March 6. Maybe someone can change this in the spreadsheet? Thanks

Same problem for me too. I updated both addresses(as my son's application has typo in home address).
Updated online and got reflected in 2 days. So from ecas, try to update the address.

I see someone in April got it. Not sure if it is a valid one or is it by mistake.

Its a good suggestion, atleast typos and check box issues can be done away with

Everyone has said email so far. I believe you would only receive AOR in the mail if you did not provide them with an email in your application.

Can someone answer me this background check if it's already done back for PR are they doing again for citizenship? How that goes...just wondering...
( I didn't have any problem back in my country or now here in Canada ,just I am curious as seems that's the reason why take longer to complete some applications...)

Heyoooo Just got my AOR! I sent my application March 3rd and it was received like March 7th or something. Single application and from Calgary. Will we wait for like a year to take the test what do you think?

Wow we send it at the same day and got AOR at the same day lol and from Calgary too haha
