As per CIC, Expired passports are also considered as Valid passports, there was someone on this forum approached CIC in regards to this & she was told that she can use expired passport for the minor.

None so far. I think they are working on Jan applicants and there's a delay. We have to wait for at least few more months.

Well, according to the minister himself, the staff were over busy helping with CERB program, I'm checking JAN statics within the forum, nothing have been done since MAR 2020 for the JAN 2020 applications. Tried to call them, just wasted 1 hour and 50 mins.

I think the latest AOR was from Mar 15 and then it stopped. Even if you call them, you might get the same message to wait

unlucky for us to apply during this pandemic, I don't know why all applications are stuck since people still can work online/from home right now, I think government should figure it out a way to make things run again, at least running.

I hear you, not until June.
I think they are working on Jan applicants. Most of them are busy with CERB.

Well, CERB should be easy now, even JAN applications are not moving. I sent today an email to my MP, Let's see.
