I just received an update from Canada post regarding the mail I sent to Sydney Nova Scotic CiC office. I am surprised that when I checked the signature receipt, some one signed it as Covid 19. Now I am in doubt in the office is close or not. I sent it to this address: 49 Dorchester

This is because Canada Past has suspended taking any signatures for most of the parcels. They are now just putting a note so that everyone knows why the actual signature of the receiver is not available.

How to fill the below travel history :
If you visited more than one country during the same absence, list the first country in 'Destination' and list the other countries in the 'Reason' field.
My destination was India but i had visited Europe for 10 days before landing at my destination.

As long as they are still receiving new applications, it makes sense to send it in.
Hi I mailed my citizenship application mid Feb. It was delivered and signed according to Canada Post. Still haven't heard from CIC.gc.ca that they have started processing yet... anyone know how long it typically takes between delivery and them actually checking and starting the process?
