sad news from IRCC
"As a precautionary measure to stem the spread of #COVID19, IRCC is cancelling all citizenship ceremonies and citizenship tests as of March 14 until further notice."

This was expected...will probably be in place for atleast the next 3-4 weeks, hopefully not longer than that.

Are they still accepting new applications normally? I am planning to send mine out on March 24th. Are other March 2020 applicants still mailing out their packages as usual and getting receipts for delivery?

You should consider mailing it as there is no news from CIC that they are not accepting new application.

The average seems to be 2 months (some people from January have received theirs already). What will sadly delay all of us is the fact that citizenship ceremonies and tests have been cancelled indefinitely.
Yea, hopefully all goes well. Wasn’t sure if I wanted to apply, but did it anyway after 8 years in Canada. Not the best time i would say. All the best to you!

With coronavirus it is gone for 3 years stay calm and relax

Sorry, may I ask why you say 3 years? China was where the epicentre was back in January, and life in Wuhan is already going back to normal. Their president was even there this week. I would like to think more optimistically and say that the delay will be of around 3 months. Might just be wishful thinking on my part!

There seems to be some problem with the main from.

1>The number of time I saved the form the the header of the Tax table (Q 12 B ) got incremented and saved on the new form.
2> I don't have any travel outside Canada last 4 year. I click NO on Q 10 B, But the table in 10 B still appears when I print. Should I put N/A or write something there.

I noticed that too; tables that disappear when checking “No” boxes re-appear when you print the form. I would say you are fine leaving them blank as long as the “No” box is checked. Make sure all your boxes are checked. A co-worker got his application returned because of a check box, so double-check your checks :)

Why don't you guys wait till the covid blows over. There will be a huge backlog. Most of my friends are waiting to submit theirs

It will be 3 months or more before it blows over. Will IRCC be closed till then or will still be processing applications?

Initial processing should remain same unless situation worsen. But test and ceremony will definitely be delayed for those who are waiting and those who are submitting now.

I agree, I would still send them in. The CPC in Sydney remains open as far as I know. It is the tests and oaths that have been cancelled.

I could be wrong, though. My company has officially sent all of us to WFH as of today until further notice. The CPC probably doesn't have that luxury, though, and they have to stay safe.
