Hi all, I have a question after reading a previous comment: someone was talking about stamps for a trip to China. I didn't see any requirements for sending stamps for travels. I travelled a few times since becoming a PR (all noted in my physical presence calculator) but all I sent them in my application was my passport's bio page. Was I supposed to send copies of any pages with stamps? I dropped off my application at a shipping place today and it won't be going out to Sydney until Monday, so I still have time to add more stuff if I have to. Thanks a lot in advance!

looks like applications are getting completed within 6 months in some cases (one person from Oct2019 got it completed in 133 days !)

This is such good news! Thanks for sharing :)

You only need to send the bio pages with your application.

During your test/interview they may or may not ask for the translation of your stamps. I was asked to get my stamps translated after my interview and that’s why I suggest having them done to take with you to your interview. It will save you time if they do end up asking for them.

Thank you for the heads up! I think I do have Chinese stamps in my passport, so I’ll get translations just in case. Did you have to do a second interview once you had the translations?

No, I didn’t. My status changed to DM a few weeks after I sent the translated stamps to them.

Hey there, you need to meet the requirement at least the day before you sign your application. Your calculator will tell you if you meet the requirement (1,095 days in the five years immediately before the date of your application). Hope that helps!

Hi,

I came up with three question while filling up my form. Hoping someone can provide some feedback on this.

1> I traveled for 3 weeks for work in Sweden in 2015, which is within 5 year eligibility period. So should I add that information on question 10.A. ? I actually don't remember the hotel name and address that I stayed in.

2> After landing in Canada, I was unemployed for three month. So, what should be the explanation for that time period in Quesiton 11.

3> Being a resident of Ontario, do I need to check NO on question 17. C. Or just leave it blank?

Thanks in advance.
