There have been numerous administrative delays. But pending criminality will have no effect on the processing of other stages.

Just give it some time.
Yes.. Apart from that we can't do any.. My AOR is April.. And by looking at trends in this forum.. They are prioritising applications which has not crossed 6 months yet.. Mine crossed 6 months.. So Have to keep hope and wait

Finally got the call from an Service Canada officer for biometrics! I’m from Kitchener, AOR 25 March.
Hi, is BIometrics done in Passport office in Weber St. Kitchener or Service Canada in Frederick St? Please reply.
Thanks.

The rule is the same. Pre-COVID, IRCC would usually not extend COPR, as one of the factors for the PR is that the applicant should have an intention to make canada home indefinitely.

However, now due to COVID, many applicants are not willing to travel, or can't travel due to restrictions.

IRCC is not extending the COPR, if it has expired, and when the applicant has a concrete plan.

@legalfalcon

Just want to confirm, did you mean that IRCC is extending the COPR in the last line?

no, in india vfs is asking to fill a webform in order to take appointment
BIL number is the IRCC Number on your letter under the section "FOR OFFICIAL USE AT BIOMETRIC COLLECTION SERVICE POINTS: " Just above the barcode!

can I call IRCC twice in a week? @legalfalcon

You can IRCC as often as you like. However, like using any resource, you should be prudent not to overdo it.

So keep yours calls spaced by a few weeks, unless there is something extremely urgent. Also, IRCC does not keep a log on your calls.
