Received 2 ADRs Back-to-Back. Feb first week - Schedule A - Submitted within 2 days. BGS changed to "We are processing you application. We will send you a message when we start your background check". Last week, ADR for PCC- Submitted within 2 days. Meanwhile there was an update in application (no email but saw there was an update when I logged in-GU??), wherein the BG message changed to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information". Hoping for some good news (most positive that I have been since probably the past 1.5 years) and frustrated at the same time.. :-(

Thanks for sharing, I have a similar timeline, I also got ADR for Schedule A in early Feb, but not updates after I submitted, and my background check has been saying "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check" for 1 and an half years.

Hope I could get some positive news soon too.

Hi @Drajesh, have you ever ordered Gcms or cbsa notes ? If yes do you mind telling me if you criminality was valid till a certain date ? I am asking because my criminality was approved in march 2020 and is valid till next monday. I am trying to understand if IRCC request a new pcc to pple for which it never started or as well the one that were valid but that expire recently.

You will most likely be asked for a new PCC. My criminality showed passed too in the GCMS notes I requested in 2021. I was asked for PCC with other documents in February.

Finally got my latest GCMS nos after 2 months. My local MP second enquirer is there as well as the receiving of my ADR from Dec…

my criminality and info sharing finally show as completed since the same date as the ADR.

i hope it means I’m at the end of the process.

security as always is in progress butI’ve heard most of the COPR came with that still in progress…

I have applied for bowp and its in process. My current passport is set to expire this year so I applied for its renewal.
so can i update cic with my new passport when it arrives ?
will they consider the new expiry and provide me work permit based on that or would they consider only the old one with which i applied?

It definitely means that they are working on your application, most likely they are ready to finalize.

Hope its true remedical passed on dec 14 and criminality expiring next week !! More than 2 months without anything...just tired especially that in haiti you are risking your life everyday !

There is no fixed timeline, especially given the Ukraine situation, but you should try to stay hopeful...

question: can i travel to another country for medical examination?

We are living in Australia and received re-medical request just yesterday (March 6, 2022). The earliest time slot for a Canadian visa medical test in Sydney is in July, which is too late. We noticed that Fiji has plenty of slots and it's quite easy to travel there. Any experience with doing medical examination in another country other than COR?
