Absolutely. You can request GCMS notes and obtain your information anytime, during and after an application has been processed and fil=nalized.
@legalfalcon thanks for your response. I had seen your previous posts where you have mentioned that after copr is issued the file is closed. Hence wanted to check with you if after copr and pr visa issuance one can request gcms as well as the set of docs that were submitted at the time of applying. So that is possible?

To submit your passports in different countries, you will have to inform IRCC and IRCC will send you fresh instructions to submit the second passport in the country the dependent is in.
Hi @legalfalcon I just wanted to quickly update you, I informed IRCC about the fact that I and my partner are currently in a separate country, they didnt respond. So, what we did was to print the visa letter of the primary applicant and we both submit a copy of it at our various countries of residence. We are now approved and the visa is stamped today.

Thank you for your feedback.

You can request GCMS notes anytime. It does not matter if your application is approved or in process.

Does anyone know how much time it may take to process updated Police certificates?
PCCs were uploaded to the profile on Friday 10th December. May it take a couple of days?)

Hi,

I am Feb 2020 AOR, COR - US. still waiting for PR. I am on H1 and will be traveling to India next year in Feb 2022 (for stamping, will be submitting passport for stamping) for a month (back to US by mid March 2022). As many ppl are predicting processing will be faster starting Jan 2022.

1)So During the 30-35day timeframe when I am in India, If COPR email comes for passport submission, does IRCC gives extension to submit passport (I am assuming we have to submit passport within 30 days of receiving email) , so that I come back to US and submit my passport?
2) My Spouse is also dependent on my application, she is planning to stay additional 40 days till May 2022, in such scenario, she need to submit passport to VAC in INDIA? or she can send her passport to me in US (by courier service) and I submit both of our passport from US to US VAC.

Anyone faced such issue before. @legalfalcon please suggest

You can write to the VO and inform that you are not in USA and would like to submit your passports from India. If your wife is in USA, she can separately submit the passport and you can submit it here. Legally, an Indian passport cannot be shared by post so I am not sure if you can use that option.

They may agree to an extension too but be prepared to submit the passports separately. All the best! @ImmiVi

Hi guys, popping in again with an update (not sure it's something to even feel hopeful about!) and some queries.

Got an email yesterday saying there's an update on my application. Opened IRCC to find that I and my dependent spouse have got a remedical request and asked to do our medicals again (which basically means our medicals didn't get extended).

One thing though - the address on both mine and my spouse's forms is an old address. We had emailed IRCC with multiple webforms requesting them to update the address but it is quite clear that they haven't done so. Is it OK to get our remedicals done on the old address? I'm not sure how to get the address changed considering IRCC doesn't really check webforms and we anyway have 30 days to complete these medicals.

On a related note, this probably also means that IRCC hasn't updated our passport details in their records. We recently got new passports as the old ones expired - but is it going to be an issue?

As always, would appreciate it if any of the experts could pitch in? @legalfalcon
Just completed my remedical. Is there any action that I am supposed to take at my end? Am I required to upload the acknowledgment slip? Kindly help!
