@legalfalcon I have received a passport request. I am primary applicant in Canada and I have dependent applicant, my spouse, back home.
She should be sending her passport to VFS in her country and I should be sending mine to Ottawa?
I am Express Entry applicant
You have to send the passport as per the instructions in the email. What does the email say?

It was on my portal not a direct email. It was addressed to me. But it said

"This is reference to your application for permanent residence. To finalize your application, we require:
1) Passports (then details about it)
2) Photographs (then details about it)
3) Change in circumstances (details about it)
4) Submitting your passport(s) in Canada (CPC-O) (details about it)"

I made a call to 1-800 number, talked to the agent. She was very confused as well. She said that they are not sending passport request to inland applicant. So I shouldn't send my passport to Ottawa. She said that she is making an inquiry about my passport or how this should be resolved.
And advised me to send my spouse's (dependent outland applicant) passport as per instructions on the letter and asked to attach a letter of explanation along with it saying that "She is a dependent outland applicant and primary applicant is inland that is why she is only submitting her passport"

You have to submit your passport to CPC-Ottawa at the address provided.

Not sure what the confusion is.

Hello,
Any good news for FSW Outland applicants?
I sometimes wonder if another year would pass with no changes! :(
I don't see any trends forming with respect to FSW-Outlander especially from India.
May be after the "COPR expired folks" are dealt with, IRCC would turn to us.

Good Afternoon @legalfalcon

Yesterday I have called IRCC , asked them about status of my application .
Agent Said , all the stages are passed but the final decision has not been made yet .
Also she said they are preparing Virtual Landing , if the final decision is still pending how she can say they are preparing landing ?

congrats on getting your COPR folks, giving us some shed of hopes...
I want to remain believing its the type of application that takes longer (exemple CEC would go faster) than acknowledging they left our batches piling up and prevented the new applicants to go to the same hurdle. My master's classmates that applied after 1 year work experience are receiving their COPR within 9 months... I want to believe this is tied to the different type of application.
The frustration is that I am way passed that mark, had I known any better back then, I did not need to rush anything and would have my COPR by Jan or Feb...

All it means is that after all stages are passed, a final decision ill be made and immediately thereafter your ritual landing will be initiated. All that matters is that all stages are passed, which has happened in your case.
