If you are in Canada, it takes 7 to 10 working days from centre where you took exam. Alternatively you can call them, they will confirm the detailsIs there anyone who was requested a remedical and the status on the ivr says “We have requested a medical exam”, even after more than 2 weeks of giving the exam ?
I am really worried cos I’m not sure of my wife’s remedical has been received yet .
Thanks for getting back. Yes we are in Canada. The remedical was taken on 23rd Apr, which makes it almost 10 working days. The doctor has confirmed that the results had been transmitted within a few days of taking the exam. Ircc call center agent is unable to confirm if they have received it.If you are in Canada, it takes 7 to 10 working days from centre where you took exam. When I did the remed I discovered the doctor uploaded it as an upfront medical exam. They failed to use the UCI I'd provided so it never got linked to my active application. Thanks for getting back. @legalfalcon My AOR is March 2020, CEC inland and criminality is still in progress, when I called to IRCC last week they said my medical got extended on 20th April but neither updated in the portal nor any update to me. What I can do now? Should I worry? I am very stressed out. Please suggest.
@legalfalcon my background check status changed from “We are processing your background check. we will send you a message if we need more information“ to “Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.”. I dont know what is the meaning of this ?? Am I going backwards??

Very sorry to hear that. Did you need to call the panel physician to get it rectified or ircc and how did they realize their mistake ? After how many days of your remed did ircc finally receive and pass your medicals ? Can you pls share some details ? Thanks !When I did the remed I discovered the doctor uploaded it as an upfront medical exam. They failed to use the UCI I'd provided so it never got linked to my active application.
I only discovered this because, like you, I noticed the status on my application hadn't changed even though I'd been advised they uploaded the medical result. After several phone calls they realised their mistake and managed to upload it to the correct profile.
