thanks :) well we received webform reply on 29 Jul 2020 stating "eligibility review is met", "security not initiated", "background in process". Then again received webform reply on 01 Oct, but they did not clarify the progress stages. Simply stated "Application in process, all required docs and info received by concerned dept." It was so vague that I lost interest to raise any webform thereafter. Then in end Dec they asked for remed. Our previous med was about to expire sometime around end Feb 2021. Didn't order GCMS notes...
Thank for sharing your timeline
My medical will be expiring this month but didn't get any update regarding extension or remedical

Alright. It looks like your file was approved well before yesterday. What was the timeline of medical status changing from passed to not needed to passed again ? Was it a long time period ?

I got copr on march 1. However, I am married and I am in India right now. I already informed them after I got married through web form and I got reply today that your application is in process even though it is showing approved in account with copr details. May be they didn’t check my application status before sending web form reply . Now my questions are
1. Will they ask me for my wife’s documents?
2. if yes then will I be able to travel canada after I submit my wife’s documents ? because I have a job in canada so I have to go.
@legalfalcon please help with situation. Thanks

You will have to submit your spouse's documents if your family composition changed, irrespective of whether your spouse is accompanying or not. You will need to submit the following. Usually after you inform IRCC, that send you this list of documents:

1. An IMM8 Application
2. Schedule A form for spouse
3. Additional Family Information form for primary applicant and spouse.
4. Fee receipt for spouse - Processing fee ($550) and right of permanent residence fee ($490).
5. Birth Certificate of spouse, translation, and affidavit of translation.
6. Copy of Spouse's Passport
7. Copy of marriage certificate and marriage registration
8. Wedding Card and Photographs
9. Police clearance certificate for the primary applicant and spouse
10. Spouse's upfront medical
11. Letter of Explanation (If required)

Your application will be reopened and after your spouses documents are processed, both, you and your spouse will be issued new COPRs (if your spouse is accompanying). This takes 2-4 months. In this process, your eligibility is NOT re-evaluated. See https://bit.ly/3gGuOC8

If your PR application has been approved, but you have not received PPR / COPR and landed in Canada, your work permit will still be valid and you can travel to Canada.
