Hi,

I have received AOR on Mar 2020 and my case was filed under EE-FSW. Would like to know anyone got PR approval who submitted in this time period or later?

Thanks
Shiva

If you are an inland applicant and your address is updated, i.e. your Canadian address is available on file with IRCC, then your COPR will be processed in due course by either seeing it to you via email, or asking you to create an account on the PR confirmation portal <https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/pr-confirmation-portal.html>

While there is no way to expedite the process, as IRCC is continuing to send COPRS to inland applicants, and the day you receive your COPR, you will be a landed PR.

You just have to give it time and as and when your file is processed, you will be informed. You can check your GCMS notes see which VO your file is at. Most inland applicants who have receive COPR is from Etobicoke. If your file is at CPC Ottawa , it may be delayed due to office closures and staffing issues.
Makes no sense whether it is VO Ottawa or Etobicoke, both lie in Ontario and lockdown has been in whole Ontario. However, if you go into technicality, Etobicoke might have faced much lockdown days than Ottawa because it lies in Toronto region.
So Instead of convincing each other which VO office is better and acknowledge their excuses, we should be continue contacting and tweeting IRCC regarding Ottawa VO.

AOR Feb 26 (FSW Inland), and still waiting.

IRCC can make FSW applicants with January-May AOR wait indefinitely long, giving various COVID-related excuses. Not only IRCC doesn't make any commitment to process our applications within some fixed timeframe, but they also recently announced that they had depreoritized all applications, except for CEC.

At the same time, a friend with AOR in September 2020 (FSW Outland) received his COPR on Jan 5th 2021, super shortly after submitting his biometrics on December 21 (and he wasn't able to submit biometrics earlier only because the visa office in his home country was closed due to covid).

I'm considering withdrawing my FSW application, and re-applying afresh under the CEC stream (I will be elegible for it in a couple of weeks). After looking through some old threads on this website and seeing how many people with AOR in 2019 are still waiting, it becomes clear that even before covid, IRCC didn't give much shit about applicants whose AOR is older that 6 months. Now that they have an "official excuse" to not work on our applications, it is optimistic to think that we'd get COPR any time soon. :(

Hi all,

I've finally received my CoPR! I know my PR Card will be mailed to me soon.

My question is: what now?

Do I need to get a new SIN?
Can I apply for my health card with the CoPR document?

Application details for others:

AoR: March 19th
Request Letter: July 10th
Biometrics: October 30th
Portal invitation: January 4th
Confirmation portal credentials: January 9th
Picture and address submitted: January 10th
CoPR: February 2nd

Not sure if that would be a wise step to make!. I am CEC inland March 27th and still nothing. Mind you I refused PNP foe the long process and chose CEC. Thinking that will make it faster ,Unfortunately, COVID-19 happened and all of us are stuck.

You think twice before withdrawal your application. If you are inland with ongoing job why rush it. Be patient we are all in this.

Good luck.

Has the Eligibility been passed by an officer? Do you see a text like this? If it has not been passed by an officer then that is the reason why Security has not started

Once Security starts you will see the status change as follows;

Hi, I couldn't find "Officer Review" in the report.
