Hi guys, I’m new to this forum, been a silent reader for so long. Hehe. PR sponsoring Filipina wife.

Here’s our timeline:

March 19 - Documents Sent

March 20 - Docs Received by CIC

April 17 - AOR

May 2 - Sponsor Approved

May 4 - Medical Request

May 14 - Medical Exam

May 21 - Medical Completed

May 3 - Biometric Request

May 10 - Biometrics Done

May 6 - CSC Mississauga

May 29 - Additional Documents requested (Proof of communication)

June 3 - Add’l Docs passed

We submitted thru an agent. We did not receive any confirmation of receipt with regards our Add’l Docs so we contacted IRCC and they confirmed receiving.

I know this might be a bit off since there’s a 12-month expected processing time but we don’t know what to expect next. Any ideas? We’ve been anxious with the one month waiting.

I also have almost same timeline and but for additional documents request on June28/19 and submitted on July02/19.
Additional document was medical of non-accompanying dependent and we submitted letter of explanation and affidavit to exclude non-accompanying dependents from our application.
Could you please keep us posted so to have an idea how long it would take from now.

Does anyone know how long “eligibility review” takes ? It currently shows “ we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements” on My GCKEY.

Below is my timeline

Application received: March 28, 2019
AOR 1 & Biometrics request letter: May 17, 2019
Sponsorship Approval: May 21,2019
Biometrics done and updated on GCKey: 3rd June 2019

KUpdate on ECAS shows:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on March 28, 2019

2. we started processing your application for permanent residence on 24th June 2019

Hi guys, am not a May applicant but I need answers please, I sent our package in June 27th/2019 to Sydney, since July 2nd the tracker status is still at out for delivery status, contacted Canada Post severally they keep saying the receiver is a volume receiver so it takes time, please has anyone witnessed this?

He'll have to go to London again since he did the biometrics on Tuesday, but he only lives an hour away by train So it's not too bad!

It all depends, we have had SA since April and no file transfer. It's completely normal to have to wait even a few months to hear something.
