There are lots of people waiting for file transfer even from nov 2018. And most of them are those whose file is to be transferred to London visa office. In which visa office your file is expected to be transferred?
From which country are you ? Yes i am also done with my medical. Passed it. But no change after that.
How do we get to know that to which visa office our file will be transferred yo? And who will receive this email ?sponsor or primary applicant?
No you cannot. you cannot work in Canada with a visitor visa. only applicants who apply inland can apply for open work permits.
Hurray, got the official SA email this morning! Hoping we get the medical request very soon so husband can make one trip to London to get everything done.
I think it's impossible to know precisely which VO you will get transferred to. If you look at the spreadsheet, a good 70% or so get transferred to Mississauga. If it doesn't go there, it will likely go to whatever is considered your local VO. But they will tell you where it's going once they transfer your application.

We applied outland (USA). I got PPR and sent copy of passport on 6/10. According to tracking it arrived 6/12. We already have a home and an address in Canada so I asked that it be sent there because I thought it would be faster. No update and no movement on return tracking number. I know we are almost there but this seems like a long delay. Can anyone with similar situation provide information on their timing at this step (CoPR)?

Most people getting sa and biometrics in one week after aor1. But very few people not getting any updates. I'm in same boat AOR1 - MAY 31 no updates after that. Did you contacted cic ?
